A helmet-compatible StormHood™ wraps around head and face without limiting peripheral vision and can be finely tuned using integrated drawcords. Pit zips provide rapid ventilation during high-output sections, while the full-length, water-resistant front zipper seals out the elements. Two high-set vertical zip pockets on the front hold maps, a GPS device, or gloves, and an additional internal chest pocket keeps small essentials organized and stowed close to the body. Hook-and-loop tabs at the cuffs and an adjustable hem help keep drafts out of the Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket. The regular fit with articulated patterning provides freedom of movement with a climbing harness or pack setup and leaves room for insulating midlayers.
