The PFAS-free Gore-Tex® Pro construction combines permanently waterproof, windproof, and at the same time breathable performance, supported by an FC0 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that makes moisture simply bead off the surface. The regular fit with ergonomically pre-shaped sleeves ensures plenty of freedom of movement and provides enough room for warm layers underneath. The helmet-compatible StormHood™ fully encloses the head, can be finely adjusted via internal drawcords, and follows every head movement without restricting peripheral vision. A full-length water-repellent front zipper seals the Beta AR Jacket by Arc'teryx reliably. Pit zips provide rapid ventilation on ascents. Two high-set zip pockets on the front remain easily accessible when wearing a backpack or climbing harness, and an internal chest pocket holds a smartphone or map. A discreet RECCO® reflector integrated into the hood facilitates location in an emergency.
