700,98 €

Hell's Bells on the Highway to Hell! No other band from Down Under has electrified the rock world like AC/DC. With immortal classics such as “Thunderstruck,” “Hell's Bells,” and “Back in Black,” the guys still fascinate audiences ranging from the very young to... let's say, the very grown up. Pro-Ject pays homage to the veterans of hard rock with a brilliantly styled and sonically outstanding turntable in a strictly limited special edition.

Product details

The logo is one of the most famous symbols of rock music and the inspiration for this very special turntable design. But it also has to sound as good as AC/DC rocks! That's why Pro-Ject has pulled out all the stops: The base is made of thick MDF and, thanks to its asymmetrical shape, provides a perfectly resonance-optimized foundation. The stainless steel axle of the precise acrylic sub-platter sits in a bronze bushing. A design highlight is the red LED lighting of the sub-platter. The flat silicone belt connects to the AC motor, which ensures stable speeds. The glass platter is a heavy, resonance-free design. The high mass of the turntable ensures the most precise playback speeds while allowing you to see the stunning turntable and all its high-quality parts and workmanship—without the drawbacks of plastic or lightweight construction. The low-resonance tonearm is a completely new design and follows the design concept of the AC/DC logo. The preset Ortofon 2M Red cartridge system fits in with the overall concept and delivers a rocking sound. Handmade with rock ‘n’ roll in Europe!
